- THE DIPLOMATS POSTERS -

"The Diplomats," a pop and jazz ensemble from the US Naval Forces Europe Band based in Naples, Italy, performed in Bucharest on July 4 and 5, delighting crowds with their repetoire of pop, jazz and blues songs which highlight music unique to various cities and regions of the U.S. On July 4, they placed at Ambassador Taubman's Independence Day reception. On July 5, they played at Cismigiu Park during the day at the invitation of the Cultural Department of the City of Bucharest. In the evening were hosted by the Cultural Center of the City of Otopeni, which celebrated the event by offering a fireworks display at the end of the concert. The American Cultural Center wishes to thank the Cultural Departments of the City of Bucharest and the City of Otopeni for their support for these events which allowed us to celebrate July 4 with the Romanian public.
