Romania's customs authorities may enforce strict regulations concerning temporary importation into or export from Romania of items such as firearms,
antiquities, and medications. Romanian law allows travelers to bring cash into or out of Romania. However, sums larger than 10,000 Euros or the
equivalent must be declared. It is advisable to contact the Embassy of Romania in Washington or one of Romania's consulates in the United States

Romania customs authorities encourage the use of an ATA (Admission Temporaire/Temporary Admission) Carnet for the temporary admission of professional
