U.S / Romanian Ambassadorial Road Show

January 31, 2008

Ambassador Nicholas Taubman announced today the first U.S./Romanian Ambassadorial Road Show to the United States, on February 4-8, 2008, targeting the cities of Washington, New York and Atlanta, with the purpose of highlighting Romanian business opportunities in those sectors in which U.S. firms are currently under represented.

The delegation includes U.S. Ambassador to Romania Nicholas Taubman, newly appointed Romanian Ambassador to the U.S. Adrian Vierita, the Minister Counselor for Economic Affairs of the Romanian Embassy Viorel Onel, Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce of Romania Anca Harasim and four AmCham Board members representing U.S. firms and best prospect committees including; Silviu Hotaran - Microsoft Romania, Cristian Colteanu – GE, Shahmir Khaliq – Citigroup, Mihaela Mitroi – PricewaterhouseCoopers and Cindy Biggs, Commercial Attaché at the US Embassy to Romania.
