Embassy Press ReleaseUS EMBASSY STATEMENT ON THE DEATH OF CORPORAL IOAN GROSARUSeptember 21, 2007 On behalf of the government of the United States, the Embassy extends its deepest condolences and sympathy to the family and friends of Corporal Ioan Grosaru, who lost his life while supporting the international coalition’s efforts to bring democracy and stability to the people of Iraq. We also extend to his injured comrades our heartfelt wishes for a speedy and complete recovery from their wounds. We owe them all a debt of gratitude for their courage and self-sacrifice. |
